Getting There & Transfers
How do we get to Ratua Island?
Guests fly into Espiritu Santo (SON). From there, a road transfer followed by a short boat transfer brings you to the island.
Are airport transfers included?
Transfers can be arranged by the Ratua team. Please advise flight details in advance.
What happens if our flight is delayed?
Our team tracks arrivals where possible and will adjust transfers accordingly.

Ratua offers traditionally crafted bungalows and villas, each designed for privacy and immersion in nature.
Do rooms have air conditioning or Wi-Fi?
Rooms are naturally cooled and intentionally technology-light. Wi-Fi is available in communal areas only.
Are the bungalows insect-proof?
Bungalows are open-air by design. Mosquito nets, natural repellents, and daily housekeeping are provided.

Our journey to reach 90% sustainability is underway. Ratua is built using reclaimed materials, and actively supports reef and environmental conservation. Growing our own local produce, sourcing our own paddock to plate livestock.
Are children welcome?
Yes. Families are welcome, though Ratua is best suited to guests who enjoy nature and a slower pace.
Are there any animals on the island?
Ratua is home to wildlife, birds, and marine life. Guests may encounter insects, geckos, and crabs — all part of island life. We are a working farm, with Cows, sheep, goats, horses, pigs, duck and chickens.
